President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev sent a telegram of condolences to the head of the Republic of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, in connection with the tragedy in Makhachkala, the press service of the head of state reports.
On Monday night, in the capital of Dagestan there was an explosion near the gas station "Nafta-24". The victims of the tragedy have become 35 people, including three children; more than a hundred people were injured.
Gagloev has noted that the news of the tragic event resonated with deep pain in the hearts of the inhabitants of South Ossetia, filling them with sorrow and compassion.
“On behalf of the people of the Republic of South Ossetia and on my own behalf, please convey my sincere condolences to all the families and friends of the victims, wishes for a speedy recovery to all those injured as a result of this terrible tragedy,” the telegram says.
The leader of South Ossetia also conveyed words of sympathy and support to all the victims.
