The delegation of South Ossetia at the World Youth Festival held a number of meetings with representatives of different countries, the head of the delegation, Alan Tibilov, said at the press conference in Sputnik.
He has clarified that meetings were held with delegations from Argentina, Bulgaria, the DPR and Belarus.
“During the meetings, we outlined our position - we are open to the whole world, ready to cooperate. Young people are not limited by the boundaries by which the state sometimes limits itself. Young people always want to be friends and cooperate,” Tibilov said.
According to him, the agreement was reached with the delegation of Belarus on mutual visits.
“This will be the first exchange of experience with them. A very warm meeting was also held with participants from the DPR, during which we exchanged memory books, as well as time capsules, which the participants of the next forum will open and read the contents,” Tibilov said.
The head of the delegation has also noted that a meeting was also held with the delegation of Argentina, “which itself expressed such a desire.”
“They themselves wanted to make friends with us. The Argentine participants became very friendly with our delegation, and their media even released a publication with a photo of our youth on the front page,” he has noted.
Tibilov has added that, in turn, the participants of these delegations were invited to the festival, which will be held in South Ossetia.
