By casting our vote for Putin, we vote for our confidence in the future, for a peaceful life, for success and victory, says South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev in his address to the residents of the republic on the eve of the presidential elections in Russia.
“In a few days, citizens of the Russian Federation in South Ossetia will take part in voting in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation. This important political event for the Russian Federation is of great significance for the people of our country.
Everyone in South Ossetia understands perfectly well what a difficult situation is developing in the world around us and in what conditions both our strategic ally and our state find themselves today. Fulfilling their allied duty, the soldiers of South Ossetia, together with their Russian brothers in arms, go into battle on the land of Donbass and Zaporozhye,” the text of the adress says.
Gagloev has noted that today we have to wage a very difficult struggle for the right of our peoples to a future and freedom, to natural human values for our children, for new generations.
“Our choice is to be with Russia. We know that without a strong Russia there will be no strong South Ossetia. Victory in this struggle can only be achieved by joining forces, rallying around a single leader. The people unanimously determine this recognized leader in the person of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin,” Gagloev said. “His distinctive feature is the greatest sense of responsibility for the people and the ability to bear this burden with dignity. His other qualities are unwavering loyalty to accepted obligations, courage and the ability to take the most responsible decisions in a situation of the most difficult historical choice. These are the qualities of an outstanding statesman ". At moments when fate is decided, the people intuitively choose such people, endowed with a special gift from God, in order to find the path and salvation of the country."
According to President of South Ossetia, as head of state, Vladimir Vladimirovich has proven many times that the highest value in his entire life is the good of Russia and its people.
“Under his leadership, Russia has been revived, in which the whole world sees strength and confidence, the ability to conduct an independent policy, firmly defend its national interests. This is the Russia that, in the hour of mortal danger, came to the aid of South Ossetia. This is the Russia in which we believe and with which we pin our hopes," he noted. “For me, as for the entire people of South Ossetia, Putin and Russia are inseparable from each other. By casting our vote for Putin, we vote for our confidence in the future, for a peaceful life, for success and victory.
I am absolutely sure that South Ossetia has already made its choice in its heart. With a leader like Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the country will go from victory to victory, from success to new success!"
Gagloev expressed confidence that on the day of voting in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation, every Russian citizen in South Ossetia will come to the polling station and take advantage of the constitutional right to vote for the most worthy candidate.
“South Ossetia is ready to do everything in its power to ensure that Vladimir Vladimirovich’s convincing victory includes a worthy contribution from our people!” the head of state has noted.
