A delegation of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation arrived in South Ossetia on a working visit, the press service of the defense department of the Republic of South Ossetia reported on Thursday.
It has been noted here that the visit was carried out within the framework of the bilateral military cooperation.
“A set of topical issues was discussed during the meeting with the leadership of the Defense Ministry of South Ossetia and representatives of the government bodies. On the agenda are issues of the functioning of the 4th Guards Military Base of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, stationed in South Ossetia,” the press service said.
A number of other events are also planned, the Defense Ministry has added.
