The exhibition dedicated to the 250th anniversary of Ossetia's entry into Russia has opened in St. Petersburg

The Russian Ethnographic Museum of St. Petersburg has opened an exhibition "Getting to know Ossetia: History in collections - 250 years of a common path", dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the entry of Ossetia into Russia. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of National Policy and External Relations of North Ossetia.

As noted by the department, the exhibition features more than 100 unique exhibits from the collection of the Russian Ethnographic Museum. Among the exhibits are the Ossetian harp, wooden bowls for beer, a set of objects of offerings to the sanctuary, etc.

It is noted that from July 9, the exhibition will be accompanied by a cultural and educational program, including master classes and a game excursion “The Poor Man’s Son and the Treasures of Uaeig.”

The project was implemented on the initiative of the Ossetian community of St. Petersburg with the support of the History of the Fatherland Foundation.
