On Tuesday, artists from South Ossetia will present the play "Boris Godunov" directed by Tamerlan Dzudtsov at the festival of Russian foreign theaters "Theatre Autumn".
The troupe of the Kosta Khetagurov State Drama Theater arrived in Nizhny Novgorod the day before to participate in a large-scale forum, the press service of the Melpomene Temple reported.
"The event brought together the Russian-language theaters from different countries. This year the festival is taking place on the stage of the M. Gorky Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Drama Theater and is dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin," the press service reported.
The main program has included performances based on the works of the Great Russian poet, which are presented by theater groups from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Tatarstan, Uzbekistan and South Ossetia." They noted that most of the performances were created within the framework of the project "Development of Cultural Dialogue" of the ANO "Russian Seasons" with the support of Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
