Customs officers of South Ossetia and Russia signed a Protocol on the termination of the Agreement on the procedure for appealing decisions and actions (inaction) of officials of the specialized customs authority, the South Ossetian Herald reports.

“The agreement has lost its relevance due to the fact that the Law “On the application of the law of the Eurasian Economic Union and the legislation of the Russian Federation in the sphere of customs regulation on the territory of the Republic of South Ossetia” came into force in South Ossetia on January 1, 2023,” the report says.

The document was signed by the head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Valery Pikalev and Chairman of the Customs Committee of the Republic of South Ossetia Alexander Chochiev
