President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov has received a delegation from the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, arrived in the Republic at the VIII session of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly.
The head of state has noted that the relations between the two republics are dynamically developing.
During the meeting, the President thanked Galustyan for the work carried out within the framework of the meeting of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly, noting the relevance of the issues discussed.
Bibilov once again touched on the topic of preparing the meeting of the heads of the three republics participating in the Community of the State for Democracy and the Rights of Nations by the time of the next, 9th meeting of the Assembly next year.
The Inter-parliamentary Assembly, which includes the legislative bodies of the three countries: South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Transnistria, adopted a joint statement in which supported the policy of the Russian Federation in Syria, said the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Alexander Shcherba during a press conference in Tskhinval.
The outgoing year was very fruitful for the interaction of the Abkhaz and South Ossetian parliaments, said Deputy Speaker of the People's Assembly of Abkhazia Levon Galustyan at a meeting with the first Vice Speaker of the South Ossetian Legislature.
"Soon, the Chairman of the Abkhazian Parliament will necessarily visit South Ossetia and hold talks with his colleagues. We are already at the finish of 2017, and we can sum up the preliminary results. It should be noted that the outgoing year was very fruitful for the interaction of the two parliaments, "Galustyan said.
