Щn Monday the Parliament of South Ossetia adopted a statement in which it expressed its full support for the legitimately elected President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, and condemned the gross interference of the United States in the internal affairs of a sovereign state, the press service of the legislature reports.
A representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia in Italy, Mauro Murgia, took part in a rally in support of the people of Venezuela and its legitimately elected President Nicolas Maduro. According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, the rally was held outside the Venezuelan embassy in Rome.
Security issues at the state border of South Ossetia with Georgia will be discussed at the first meeting in 2019 within the framework of theIncident Prevention and Response Mechanisms (IPRM). The composition of the working Friendship Group on cooperation between the Parliament of South Ossetia and the People’s Council of the Syrian Arab Republic was approved at the session of the South Ossetian Parliament.
The question for discussion of parliamentarians was submitted by the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Relations, Igor Kochiev, who noted that the group had included representatives of all political parties.
Deputies of the Parliament of South Ossetia considered the cooperation agreements between the Parliament of the Republic and the People’s Councils of the DPR and the LPR.
The question at the meeting was raised by the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Relations Igor Kochiev.
As noted by Kochiev, based on the mutual desire of both parties to expand and strengthen inter-parliamentary ties and exchange experience in the field of lawmaking, the legislative bodies agreed on mutual cooperation.
