The next round of the Geneva talks is scheduled for July.

State Secretary - Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Grigory Karasin discussed on the phone with the UN representative, the Сo-chairman of the Geneva discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia, Ms. Dzhihan Sultanoglu, the preparation of a new round of negotiations, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

The parties exchanged views on the preparation of a new round of international discussions in Geneva.

Prosecutor General of South Ossetia, Uruzmag Dzhagaev, announced the decision of the Prosecutor General’s Office to retrain the crime committed on May 20, 1992 from “murder” to “genocide”.

"Genocide is a crime that is not subject to statute of limitations. We will prosecute the people involved in this tragedy, until the last, until they suffer proper punishment," said Dzhagaev.

In the near future, the politician intends to visit South Ossetia.

South Ossetia has again called on the world community to condemn the criminals - the perpetrators of the Zar tragedy, the Republic’s Foreign Ministry reports. The country's foreign policy department calls for a legal assessment of the actions of the Georgian leadership, "aimed at the destruction of the Ossetian people, and focus on efforts on influencing Georgia’s recognition of responsibility for the aggression committed and its results."
