South Ossetia has completely closed the border with Georgia due to coronavirus
The Security Council of South Ossetia to prevent the outbreak of the coronavirus COVID-19 in the Republic has made a decision to close all the simplified checkpoints on the border with Georgia.
"The virus is spreading all over the world, now it has reached the neighboring Georgia. This is a serious challenge for South Ossetia, and the reaction should be prompt, at the same time balanced and correct," said President Anatoly Bibilov at a meeting of the Security Council on Thursday.
