That fatal day-8 August 2008- I was on a visit at my relatives. I, myself, live in the village Dzau. That night about 23:30 suddenly the rumble was heard. We came down into the cellar of the nine-storey building. At first we thought that the fire would subside, because it was not the first time for the Georgian side, so we took nothing with us to the cellar. But some of our neighbours turned out to be more provident. They took blankets and candles with them. None of us expected that the war would begin.

The seventh of August 2008 has been engraved in the memories not only of each person, who had been found himself in the Republic at that time, but also in those ones, who are not indifferent to the fate of the whole mankind. On the fifth of August 2008 I sent my children to Vladikavkaz, and I, myself, remained in the town. At night from seventh for eighth of August, when the war began, I with my neighbours came down into the cellar, my husband was at the hospital then- he had pneumonia. There were 15 of us in the cellar. There were only women and oldsters there. All were dread from what had been occurring. Georgians were firing us from all types of weapon, including the volley fire system «Hail". The fire had not been falling silent for a second during the whole night.

South-ossetian side again has raised the issue of detainees and the lost citizens of the Republic in the course of the fifteenth round of international debates on the issues of stability and safety in Transcaucasia, which has started today in Geneva. As the representative of south-ossetian delegation David Sanakoev informed IA "Res" over the phone , the issue had been risen within the framework of working of the second group, where the situation in the regions have been discussing.

In the course of these operation were revealed just the people, delivering drugs in the Republic of South Ossetia", - Pliev has said.

The War in August 2008 has forced us to suffer the nightmare in the whole meaning of this word. Initially, at the beginning of the August georgians periodically were firing South Ossetia in evenings, however with dawn the fire was calming down. At night with seventh for eighth August, when about midnight the blasts thundered, I was perplexed: whether georgians once again undertook the attempt of destruction our Republic? Really it was the war?!
