Gagloev: Russia's decisive diplomatic intervention forced Georgia to sign a peace agreement in 1992
The Russian Federation, being interested in establishing peace and stability in its immediate border area, taking into account the historical connection with the South Ossetian people and spiritual community, took all possible steps under those conditions to stop the war. This was stated in the speech of President Alan Gagloev at the ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the adoption of the Act of Proclamation of Independence of South Ossetia.
