In the course of time the policy of double standards will be condemned, and the actions of Georgia .and many other countries, which today play the role of «peacemakers", will be sentenced legally. This has been declared by the Plenipotentiary of the President of South Ossetia on questions of after the conflict regulation Boris Chochiev, commenting the events in Libya.
"The events in Libya – is a big policy and today I am not going to give the assessment neither the actions of the coalition, nor the actions of Muammar Kaddafi, but I want to pay attention to the following moment,-the countries, participating in the West coalition, in one voice declare that Kaddafi has used force against the opposition, in consequence of which they have accredited themselves to bomb Libya. But those countries, which today convict the actions of Kaddafi, know that in Libya do not live the people of Great Britain, the USA, France and they, ostensibly, are ''worried'' about the fate of people of this countries", - has said the Plenipotentiary.
Chochiev is recollecting with surprise, as during the aggression of Georgia against South Ossetia, the above mentioned countries were not «worried» knowing that exactly Georgia had been bombing a peaceful town of South Ossetia-Tskhinval from all types of weapon, including the forbidden ones, in the result of which a lot of the citizens of Russia perished, including the russian peacemakers, who had been serving there according to the international agreement.
"The countries of the West convicted the actions of Russia, which the only had come to help both the peacemakers, and the people of South Ossetia – the people, which had been threatened by full destruction. Besides, she came to rescue the people, who aside of regular destruction, have been and are the citizens of RF", - has emphasized Chochiev.
The Plenipotentiary has also noted that it was terrible to imagine what the troops of the coalition would have done if Kaddafi killed the people of their countries.
"Could RF in August 2008 not to protect their own peacemakers and their own citizens? But for the policy of double standards, the West was obliged in August not only to protect RF, but also to punish the aggressor in the person of Saakashvili", - has concluded the plenipotentiary.
