The nextmeeting of the Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incidents (MPRI) has started inthe Georgian village of Ergneti, which is at the border of South Ossetia. South Ossetian delegation is headed by newly appointed Deputy Presidential Envoy to the RSO forpost-conflict settlement KhokhGagloev, who succeeded to this position MerabChigoev (now - theAttorney Generalof South Ossetia).
During the meeting will be discussed the situation at the border of South Ossetia and Georgia, the incidents that have occurred since theprevious meeting of the MPRI (May 25).
It should be reminded that the agreement on the establishment o fMPRI has been achieved at the fourth round of Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasia in February 2009. The meeting is attended by delegations from South Ossetia, Russia, Georgia, the EU and the OSCE.
