Representatives of the Russian government delegation led by Deputy Minister of Regional Development Sergei Vereshchagin inspected the facilities under construction and restoration in the capital of South Ossetia objects. During the inspection the guests were accompanied by Minister of Construction of South Ossetia Anatoly Maschelkin; they examined a number of socially significant facilities in Tskhinval, including educational institutions.
As reported to journalists by Vereshchagin, the main purpose of the visit is to work out a new socio-economic development program for the near future and the priority resolution for further work in this direction.
"We hope that during the period of stay in the Republic we will collect the necessary documentation, assess the current situation and prepare preliminary findings and recommendations for further work", - said Vereshchagin.
It should be reminded that the Russian delegation arrived in South Ossetia August 13; the visit will last till August 18. During this period it is planned to review the progress in implementing the investment program to promote socio-economic development in 2011, 2012 and 2013, as well as to consider the proposals of the South Ossetian side on the draft investment program for 2013-2015 years
