The executive personnel of the Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Calamity of South Ossetia is taking part in the international seminar "Fire Prevention and Organization of Supervisory", which has started today in Moscow. As IA "Res" has been informed at the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the RSO, the invitation to the event was received from the leadership of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
"The seminar is being held within the framework of celebration of the 85th anniversary of the State Fire Supervision of Russia. Besides the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the seminar are participating the experts from more than 30 countries, as well as representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the United Nations. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia is represented by Deputy Minister Azamat Chochiev and Alan Zakharov."
According to him, at the seminar are being discussed the issues of organization of civil defence and territory, organizing and conducting theinstrument inspection during the supervisory activities at the defence objects, licensing in the field of fire safety, etc.
"It is expected that the seminar will also address the issues of fire prevention and organization of supervisory activities in modern society, more efficient supervisory activities in the field of fire safety, improving fire protection facilities and areas, reducing losses from fire, - continued the agency interlocutor. - Our representatives are planning to speak there on the topic ''Supervisory Activities in the Field of Fire Safety''. "
According to the Emergency Situations Ministry, the event is being conducted with the purpose to facilitate the international exchange of experience in the field of fire prevention.
"This seminar is also expected to attract attention of heads of the government agencies and all concerned to effective settlement of the issues of fire safety on the basis of mutually beneficial cooperation at the national and international levels", - has been emphasized at the press-service.
The seminar will be held in Moscow September, 5 - 7.
