Tomorrow, December 18, a new trilateral meeting of the joint Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incidents (MPRI) will be held in the Georgian village of Ergneti, which is bordering on South Ossetia. This was declared by Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev at a meeting of the President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov with heads of the law-enforcement agencies of South Ossetia.

He has noted that the South Ossetian side, in particular, is going to raise the question of the citizens of South Ossetia, kept in the Georgian prisons - Marik Dudaev, Georgy Zasseev, Georgy Valiev and Soslan Kochiev.
"These are our citizens that have been serving a sentence in prisons of Georgiaon fabricated charges - three of them are sentenced to life imprisonment," - said Dzhioev.
At the 22 round of the Geneva talks the South Ossetian side presented in detail information about the detention of these citizens.
"The first charge was in a traffic accident near the village of Avnevi, then on smuggling cigarettes, drugs, and the fourth version was on charges of the terrorist act. At one of the rounds of the Geneva talks the Georgian side promised that by the end of the year they would settle this question. However, it is still unresolved, "- stressed Dzhioev.
According to him, at the MPRI meeting South Ossetia will also raise the issues of the missing citizens of South Ossetia, as well as the situation at the state border.
