Public Chambers of the Republic of South Ossetia and Chechnya signed a cooperation agreement.
The meetingof the Public Chamber members of South Ossetia, Chechnya and the Voronezh region was attended by the Ambassador of Russia in South Ossetia Elbrus Kargiev, who noted that the establishment of the public institutions, the civil society development would be for the benefit of the state.
"The population must be involved in their creation. It is necessary to awaken people, to instill in them confidence and explain that the rehabilitation of the Republic isin their power. In this case the experience of the Chechen Republic is to the point, "- said Kargiev.
He has also noted that in 2014 in South Ossetia will be held parliamentary elections, due to which has activated the process of forming the various parties in the Republic.
Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Konstantin Pukhaev has also addressed the participants of the meeting, wishing them success in their future work.
Member of the Public Chamber of the Voronezh region Valentina Shumlyanskaya has told about her first visit to the Republic, noting that the Voronezh region was the first to respond to the tragedy of the Ossetians in 2008, and the first arrived in South Ossetia with humanitarian aid.
According to Deputy Head of the Public Chamber of Chechnya Mamiy Mutsaev, the leadership of any state may face such situations, that it cannot bring to the people.
"And the heads of the public institutions should accept this responsibility. People must support their leadership. Of course, there will be mistakes, but we should not stop, we must go forward. And whoever is at the helm of state - sooner or later, he will resign, and people should live in harmony, "- he said.
As noted after the signing ceremony by the Chairman of the Public Chamber of the RSO Merab Zasseev, South Ossetia is ready to follow the path of democracy and active development of the civil society.
