Minister of Health and Social Development of South Ossetia Gregory Kulidzhanov has met in Tskhinval with members of the Russian delegation headed by Deputy Director of the Department for Labour Protection and Working Conditions of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Russia Pavel Egorov, who arrived in South Ossetia on a working visit.
As the news agency "Res" was informed at the press service of the Health Ministry of the RSO, during the meeting, where the South Ossetian side was represented by Deputy Health Minister Alla Chochieva, Presidential Adviser on social issues Rodion Siukaev, head of the Labor and Employment Department of the Health Ministry Nonna Mkrtchyan and a Chairman of the trade union Zhanna Gergaulova, the parties discussed the assistance in improving working conditions and labor protection in our Republic. "
The participants of the meeting have also discussed the possibility of establishing a system of labour protection in the RSO and the drafting of the concept of working conditions, as well as labour protection.
"The South Ossetian side approved a proposal of the guests to draft the regulatory legal acts on labor protection, similar to the Russian ones, but tailored to the regional characteristics and economic conditions of South Ossetia - continued the ministry official.
He has noted that at the meeting was also voiced the need to establish the appropriate agency in South Ossetia, controlling labor protection.
The press service added that the participants had agreed to continue the working relationship to further collaboration on the creation in the RSO a system of labor protection. In addition, it was agreed to establish a joint working group to prepare the legal framework of the system of labor protection and working conditions in South Ossetia.
"The Russians experts have expressed their willingness to provide the necessary assistance to the South Ossetian counterparts in addressing the issues of improvement and development of labor protection and working conditions in South Ossetia," - said the official.
It should be noted that the Russian delegation has included a Head of the Department of Insurance Against Accidents At Work and Occupational Diseases of the Social Security Fund Igor Baranovsky, Deputy Head of the State Labour Inspectorate of North Ossetia Alexander Boiko, Head of the Labor Protection Department of the Ministry of Labour of North Ossetia Rita Tokova, Deputy Head of the Examination Department of the Ministry of Labor in North Ossetia Yuri Galimov and Head of the Regional Department of the RF Social Insurance Fund in the RNO-Alania Zalina Aylarova.
