The Russian working group which is in South Ossetia on a working visit has included representatives of the Ministry of Health of Russia. The guests in Tskhinval were received by the RSO Health Minister Gregory Kulidzhanov.
The Russian delegation of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation is represented by the Assistant to Health Minister Anatoly Gulin, Senior Adviser of the financial support and the implementation of long-term (federal) Department of targeted programs of financial and health-resort treatment of the Ministry of Health Maxim Kudryashov and Head of the Department of Preventive Medicine Emergency Primary Health Care and Health Resort Business Iana Litvinyuk .
As the news agency "Res" was informed at the press service of the Ministry of Health of South Ossetia, "the purpose of the visit of the Russian counterparts is to study the level of health care in the Republic, monitoring of health facilities and the quality of their reconstruction."
"The guests have visited Leningor district of the Republic. During the visit it was discussed the possible construction of a new clinic in Leningor. They have also visited the hospital where the reconstruction works were carried out by the Russian construction company "Dagstroy" don`t meet requirements (capital repair of the hospital in Leningor began March 13, 2011 by the construction company LLC "Dagstroy" as part of the investment program to promote socio- economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia - Ed.). The medical staff is working, but the poorly executed restoration interferes with their work. The hospital is not yet on-balance-sheet"- was said at the press service of the Health Ministry.
They also noted that the agency could not to get in touch with the construction company, engaged in the restoration of the building.
The working group now plans to visit the Republican somatic hospital in Tskhinval and to explore mineral water sources in Dzau district of South Ossetia.
It should be noted that on Tuesday, June 4, the working group consisting of representatives of the federal bodies of executive power of Russia arrived in South Ossetia. The visit of the Russian delegation is taking place within the framework of implementation of the agreements reached by President of the Republic of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov and Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting in Sochi, May 21, 2013. The purpose of the visit is the preparation of proposals to address the priorities of socio-economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia.
The Russian delegation has included representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development, the Ministry of Health and Social Development, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Communications and a number of other ministries and agencies of the Russian Federation.
