Today has taken place the meeting of the President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian Federation to the North Caucasus Federal District Alexander Khloponin, who arrived in the Republic on a working visit to attend the 9th meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee for Socio- Economic Cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation.
During the meeting they discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries. The Head of South Ossetian State briefed the guest on plans for further socio-economic development of South Ossetia.
In turn, Khloponin told about the great work done by Russian and South Ossetian experts.
"We plan to allocate 2.8 billion rubles for the implementation of the investment program for 2014. This is a large amount and a large number of facilities, among which must also be the completed ones. The task is not easy; I think that we will continue the fruitful with the South Ossetian specialists and experts, "- he said.
