The agreement on free trade with Russia will give a new impetus to the development of the economy of South Ossetia, said Prime Minister of South Ossetia Rostik Khugaev in his interview with the news agency "Res".
According to him, South Ossetian entrepreneurs can run and develop their business in the most favorable conditions.
"With such a vast market like Russian and having the same conditions as the Russian entrepreneurs, we must do everything to make proper use of these opportunities," - said Khugaev.
Ratification of the agreement in the State Duma, according to the Prime Minister, once again showed Russia's interest in a strong and successful South Ossetia.
"At the same time, the agreement imposes a great responsibility on the Republic. Entrepreneurs have to strictly observe all rules of international trade law. They also need to produce high-quality goods, which would be of interest to Russian buyers. And the leadership of the Republic is obliged to do all to support our entrepreneurs,"- he said.
Another positive result of the ratification of the trade agreement should be the increased investor`s interest in South Ossetia, believes the head of the Cabinet of Ministers.
"It should be noted that according to the agreement, Russia will not impose export customs duties on gasoline and diesel fuel. It will be a great relief for the budget of the Republic, as well as for car owners"- added Khugaev.
