The delegation of South Ossetia headed by Minister of Economy Gennady Kokoev, who is on a visit to the Luhansk People's Republic, met with the Chairman of the People's Council of the Luhansk People's Republic Denis Miroshnichenko. This was reported by the Luhansk information center with reference to the press service of the Parliament of the LPR.
Denis Miroshnichenko and Gennady Kokoev discussed the prospects for cooperation, expressing a commitment to further development of relations between the two republics.
"I want the relations that we have already developed to reach a higher level. It is very important for us to know that we are not alone, that there are people who support us", - Miroshnichenko said.
He has added that the agreement on cooperation signed between the Ministry of Economic Development of the Luhansk People's Republic and South Ossetia is a significant step in the development of interaction between Tskhinval and Luhansk in all key areas.
Gennady Kokoev thanked the leadership of the LPR for the warm welcome, noting that South Ossetia will continue to strengthen its partnership with the Luhansk People's Republic.
"The signing of the agreement is the next stage of our cooperation. We have no reason to doubt that this cooperation will continue. There is a field for mutual cooperation, and we think that it will only expand", - said the head of the Ministry of Economic Development of South Ossetia.
