The international festival of arts "Elena" in honor of the 80th anniversary of the birth of People's Artist of the USSR Elena Obraztsova (1939-2015) opens for the fourth time on Monday in her hometown, St. Petersburg. According to TASS, Honored Artist of Russia Veronika Dzhioeva, Grammy laureate, Mariinsky Theater soloist Ildar Abdrazakov, La Scala soloist and Roman Opera Daniela Skillaci, Mexican singer, Vienna Opera soloist Ramon Vargas, conductor Fabio Mastranjelo will take part in the festival. The annual festival "Elena" gathers on the same stage outstanding masters of vocal art and the most promising young performers, for whom participation in it opens the way to a world of recognition and success. Over the past years, it has gathered at performances and concerts more than 12 thousand residents and guests of St. Petersburg.
