Issues of socio-economic cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia were discussed during a meeting between the head of the Cabinet of South Ossetia Eric Pukhaev and the delegation of the Russian Ministry for North Caucasus Affairs, headed by director of the Department of International Cooperation Anton Melnik, who arrived in South Ossetia on a working visit.
According to the press service of the government, the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development Gennady Bekoev and head of the government Office Oleg Gagloev.
The parties reviewed the preliminary results of the implementation of the Investment Program 2018-2019.
It has been noted that most of the activities planned for 2019 have been completed, and the
work at the remaining facilities is being carried out in an intensive mode.
During the visit, the Russian delegation visited the hotel under construction in Tskhinval, the fountain on Freedom Square, the Memorial complex, 18- apartment houses in the villages of Znaur and Dzau, the Information Coordination Center.
The delegation continued its work in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture. Housing and Public Utilities with the heads of relevant organizations.
