Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia sent to the missions of foreign states and international organizations accredited in the Republic notification of the termination of the crossing of the state border of the Republic through the multilateral checkpoint "Ruck" from 8 p.m. on April 5, 2020 to 23 p.m. on April 12, 2020 reports the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic.
Such measures were taken in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia dated 04.04.2020 No. 19 on the measures to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological safety of the Republic of South Ossetia.
"The measures taken to ensure the sanitary-epidemiological safety of the Republic of South Ossetia are determined by special circumstances and are of an exceptional and temporary nature," the Foreign Ministry emphasized.
