Sappers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia have defused an RPG-27 anti-tank rocket grenade found by local residents, the press service of the department told IA "Res".
"The call was from the eyewitness who reported about the find on the outskirts of the Shanghai micro district," the Emergencies Ministry said.
Sappers of the emergency department went to the scene and examined the found item, "it posed a serious danger."
The anti-tank grenade was taken to the test site and destroyed.
