"In particular, in October of this year, in the vicinity of the village of Khelchua, Tskhinval district, the border service of the KGB of the RSO detained three citizens of South Ossetia while trying to illegally import 240 liters of alcohol-containing products from Georgia. According to the results of the proceedings, the offenders were brought to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine of 10 thousand rubles each, "the press service said.
They added that, according to experts, the sale of these counterfeit products could lead to mass poisoning among the population.
The KGB of the RSO warns citizens about the inadmissibility of violating criminal and administrative legislation, as well as the need to comply with the legal regimes established at the state border, including in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the deteriorating sanitary and epidemiological situation in Georgia.
