Rector of the South Ossetian State University Vadim Tedeev took part in the school of preventive public diplomacy at the Eurasian Network University, organized by the Scientific and Educational Center "Globus-XXI Century" of the Faculty of Global Processes of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Public Diplomacy Foundation and the State University of Management.

The event is taking place from November 30 to December 13 in Moscow.

As part of the School, a discussion panel "Preventive Public Diplomacy in Ensuring Global and Eurasian Security" was held.

Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia Znaur Gassiev, at the invitation of Dmitry Kiselev, CEO of the International Media Group "Russia Today", took part in the meeting as part of the RIA PRESS CLUB project.

As part of the event, congratulations were read out on the 10th anniversary of the international agency and Radio Sputnik.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov congratulated the agency's staff in his welcoming speech, noting the authority of the publication and the high quality of its materials.

Syria's return to peace is possible only on the basis of political dialogue and interaction of all ethnic, religious and political forces. This is stated in the statement by the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry in connection with the situation in Syria.

The Foreign Ministry has noted that South Ossetia has been closely monitoring the events taken place in the Syrian Arab Republic in recent days.

The Presidential Human Rights Commissioner of South Ossetia Inal Tasoev and Children's Ombudsman Aelita Dzhioeva are taking part in the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "The Origin and Development of Ideas on Human Rights and Freedoms".

The conference was organized in a full-time and correspondence format by the Human Rights Commissioner in Abkhazia Kishmaria Anas.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev presented state awards to Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic Alan Margiev and deputies of the VIII convocation, the press service of the head of state reports.

The award ceremony took place at the Presidential Executive Office of the Republic of South Ossetia and was timed to coincide with the 34th anniversary of the formation of the supreme legislative body of South Ossetia.

The head of state congratulated the deputy corps and all those involved in the significant date, and also thanked them for their fruitful work.
