The capital of South Ossetia will "become related" with several cities of Russia and Abkhazia, the mayor of Tskhinval Geno Kadzhaev told IA“Res”.
According to the mayor, cooperation agreements will be signed in the near future.
“This month there will be a working trip to the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic, where the signing of the agreement on the twinning of Tskhinval with Cherkessk will take place. We will also establish friendly relations with Sukhum and Yalta. Perhaps we will become twin cities with Samara. After the conclusion of these agreements, we will have a mutual exchange in many areas. Together with twin cities, we will be able to learn more about the traditions and culture of our peoples, we will develop the educational sphere, sports and many other areas,” said Kadzhaev.
It should be noted that the “family ties” of the capital have already been established with Vladivostok and Kerch.
