South Ossetian grapplers will take part in the Absolute World Championship in Jiu-Jitsu, which will be held in St. Petersburg on December 13. This was reported to the news agency "Res" by the coach Elbrus Gobozov.
According to him, the team for participation in the competition has already been formed.
“There are six people on the team. Two will be competing among adults, and two among athletes under 18 years old. The guys are well prepared. We have chosen the very best, who have been consistently shown results in competitions and in training. Expectations from their performance are the best. We intend to at least take prizes,” Gobozov said.
ACBJJ –is the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Ultimate Championship. The Open World Championship will bring together athletes from all over the world. The event will be held on 10 tatami mats.
A team of referee of 30 people will be involved. The winners of the tournament receive the official title of BJJ world champion, as well as a cash reward.
