President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin discussed economic and military cooperation.
"I will not characterize the relations between South Ossetia and Russia. Here, it seems to me, comments are superfluous, they are of a special nature," Putin stated, welcoming his counterpart in the Kremlin's representative office.
President of Russia has noted that relations are developing in all areas, including in the economic sphere. "The growth of trade over the past year amounted to 12%. In principle, a good indicator," Putin said.
He has added that all programs are being developed: the investment program, a program for socio-economic development, a financial assistance program, a loan program for assistance and support to South Ossetia.
"From the point of view of ensuring security, a Russian military base has been stationed on the territory of the Republic, and very close cooperation has been established between the relevant structures in this area," Putin has added.
