The problem of the illegal police post in the village of Uista is quite difficult to solve, since the Georgian party does not want to meet halfway, Egor Kochiev, Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Republic of South Ossetia for Post-Conflict Resolution, head of the South Ossetian delegation represented in this format, noted at the briefing following the 115th meeting within the framework of Ithe PRM.
According to him, one of the main issues that the South Ossetian party raises every time at the meetings in the format of mechanisms for preventing and responding to incidents is the removal of the illegal Georgian post in the village of Uista.
“As I have said more than once, the Georgian leadership, deciding to earn political points for itself, put up this post. Now its removal for them is associated with very serious reputational losses, including in the political arena. However, we do not give up our attempts and every time we point out the concern of the residents of the village of Uista because of the police post,” Kochiev said.
He has expressed confidence that this issue will be resolved exactly as the South Ossetian party wants.
