The next, 64th, round of the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia is tentatively scheduled for June 24-25, - said State Advisor to President of South Ossetia Konstantin Kochiev.

"The date is still preliminary, it may change. We are waiting for official confirmation and the invitation to participate in the next round in Geneva," Kochiev said.

The Geneva Discussions on Transcaucasia is the international forum for ensuring security and stability in the region, as well as maintaining direct equal dialogue between Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Georgia.

The discussions are held since October 15, 2008, and are attended by representatives of Abkhazia, Georgia, South Ossetia, Russia, the United States, and the EU, UN, and OSCE co-chairs.
