Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia, Znaur Gassiev, took part in the inauguration ceremony of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported by the press service of the South Ossetian Embassy in Russia.
The event took place in the St. Andrew's Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senators, the State Duma deputies, judges of the Constitutional Court, governors, members of the government, heads of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Moscow, and representatives of traditional faiths.
The President, who had taken office, made a short address to the citizens of the country. He thanked the citizens of Russia in all regions of Russia, the participants of the special military operation "for the trust you have shown."
