Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia Znaur Gassiev took part in the farewell ceremony at the House of Latin America on the occasion of the death of Ambassador of the Republic of Honduras to the Russian Federation Juan Ramon Elvira Salgado, the press service of the diplomatic department reports.
The South Ossetian Ambassador, in his farewell speech, especially noted his friendship with a man who was an example of modesty, amazing inner charm and enjoyed enormous authority among his friends and in the diplomatic environment.
“This bright man loved his homeland and fulfilled his mission in Russia with honor. Sleep well, my friend. We will miss you,” Znaur Gassiev said.
The Embassy also sent a telegram of condolences to Salgado's family and friends.
