The public chambers of South Ossetia and Crimea signed a cooperation agreement in Tskhinval.
The document was signed as part of the working visit of the Crimea Public Chamber delegation to Tskhinval.
The agreement defining the directions of work of the two chambers for the future was signed by Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Republic of South Ossetia Sergei Kudziev and Deputy Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian FederationVladimir Ryazanov.
As reported to IA “Res” by Sergei Kudziev after the solemn signing of the agreement, a constructive conversation took place about specific steps to strengthen business and friendly ties between the public chambers of the two republics.
The guests were also received by President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev. During the meeting, humanitarian and social cooperation through the public chambers of the republics, as well as trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation of our fraternal regions were discussed.
“The Crimeans expressed great gratitude to Alan Gagloev for his hospitality, as well as to him and the people of South Ossetia for the fact that this wonderful republic was one of the first states to recognize Crimea as Russian and the right of Crimeans to choose their destiny,” Kudziev has noted.
According to him, the meeting participants have also noted that Crimea and South Ossetia regularly take steps to create favorable conditions for the stable development of bilateral mutually beneficial ties on a long-term basis in a variety of industries.
In addition to Ryazanov, the Crimean delegation has also included the Chairman of the Commission on preservation and strengthening of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, protection of historical truth, culture and patriotic education of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea, Roman Chegrinets, and First Deputy Chairman of the Commission on interethnic, inter-religious relations and migration of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the interethnic public movement “Our Ossetia” Vyacheslav Lagkuev.
A similar agreement was also signed between the Public Chambers of Crimea and North Ossetia .
The parties also took part in the scientific conference “The Victorious Breath of the Crimean Spring”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Crimea and the 10th anniversary of its reunification with Russia.
