In Leningor district of South Ossetia, more than half a million rubles were collected for South Ossetian fighters - participants of the special military operation in less than a month. This was reported to IA "Res" by the head of the press service of the district administration, Anzhela Kokoeva.
According to her, the action in support of the fighters was organized by the district administration.
"The initiative found support among hundreds of residents of the district," Kokoeva said.
The head of the Leningor district administration, Murtaz Valiev, noted that "we are obliged to provide a reliable rear for our guys who are defending our common big Motherland, performing combat missions in the special military operation zone."
"That is why we decided to collect funds for certain needs of our guys at the front," he said. - The district's public sector employees left a small portion of their salaries at the cash register. Local entrepreneurs also provided us with all possible assistance."
