The Foreign Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia Murat Dzhioev has arrived for a two-day working visit in the Republic of Abkhazia. In the course of the visit from 13-14 May 2011 the meetings with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia Sergey Shamba and also with the Foreign Minister of Abkhazia Maxim Gvindzhia have taken place.

The position of the senators L.Trem and D.Shakhin is their personal opinion, and I hope, it will not dominate at the Senate of the USA considering the policy of "reset". Neither South Ossetia, nor Abkhazia pretend to another’s territories and want to live with the surrounding countries in peace, without infringing the rights of the neighboring people. But I also hope that they will keep the same position in regard to our countries. What about the above mentioned "Russian troops" we must underline that the population of South Ossetia and Abkhazia appealed to Russia themselves for rendering them military aid and to prevent another aggression for the part of Georgia, they were being undergone since 90-th. The relevant agreements have been signed for this purpose.
The co-chairmen of the Geneva debates have recently met with the inhabitants of Leningorskiy region of the Republic of South Ossetia. The meeting has been arranged by the .South-Ossetian delegation at the Geneva consultations on request of the co-chairmen. As reported IA "Res" by the Deputy Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on the post conflict settlement Merab Chigoev, the "meeting turned out to be unexpectedly saturated and all the co-chairmen were highly interested in the discussion of all the issues. "The delegation has visited the house-museum of the ksani Eristavi, where the director of the museum has organized the excursion for us. The co-chairmen were interested in the exhibits, being demonstrated in the museum. We have explained that Eristavi were migrated many ages ago from the North Ossetia, their real surname was Bibilovy, and they converted the job title ' « Eristavi» into their surname", - has noted Chigoev.
Today, on 14 May, a joint concert of the Abkhazian and the South-Ossetian groups is going to take place in Vladikavkaz. It has been reported IA "Res" by the Deputy Minister for culture of the RSO Dzhulietta Dzheranova. "The Abkhazian state group of the folk dance "The Caucasus" and the state ensemble of song and dance of the Republic of South Ossetia "Simd" will present the North-Ossetian spectators the joint concert program today, and tomorrow the concert will be given in the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria - Nalchik", - she has said.
The group of the Belgorod state Philharmonic Society "Pleasure" is going to give the concerts in South Ossetia on June 10. This has been reported IA "Res" by the music leader of the ensemble, the holder of the chair of the folk instruments of the Belgorod state institute for culture and art (BSICA), a merited worker of culture of the RF Mikhail Sharobarin. "We want to give the concerts for the servicemen of the Border management of the FSS of the RF in the RSO and for the inhabitants of the towns and the regions of South Ossetia", - has said Sharobarin.
Today in Tskhinval the co-chairmen of the Geneva debates on safety in Transcaucasia have met with the representatives of the national minorities of South of Ossetia. As noted by the state counselor of the president of the RSO Kosta Dzugaev in the course of the meeting, the "world of tolerance" always existed on the territory of South Ossetia. «The international obligations on protecting national minorities are strictly kept in the Republic. They have all necessary conditions of life, acceptable for the present socio-economic situation of our state", - has said Dzugaev.
The meeting of the co-chairmen of the Geneva debates on safety in Transcaucasia with the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on post conflict settlement Boris Chochiev and the members of the South-Ossetian delegation at the Geneva debates is taking place in Tskhinval. In the course of the meeting Boris Chochiev has informed the guests about the situation in .the regions of South Ossetia bordered on Georgia and has underlined that the whole situation is quiet and one could see the reduction of amount of the border violations. "The dwellers of the South-Ossetian districts, bordering on Georgia, have realized that the border is being protected what has promoted the reduction of the boundary violations. If such events take place, they are discussed at the meetings within the frames of the MPRI", - has noted the Plenipotentiary.
The leadership of South Ossetia highly appreciates the role of the Geneva debates on safety in Transcaucasia and is ready for further dialogue in this format. It has been declared by the Deputy Prime-Minister of South Ossetia Domenty Kulumbegov in the course of the meeting with the co-chairmen of the Geneva debates, who have arrived in the Republic with a working visit. "The president, the parliament and the government of South Ossetia highly appreciate the format of the Geneva debates, and we again officially confirm our readiness for participation in the discussions. We hope the Geneva debates will become the platform, where we can discuss our problems and find out mutually acceptable ways out of the situation", - has said Kulumbegov.

The strong blast was resounded at night from seventh to eighth of August 2008. I have realized at once that it was war. I had never heard such terrible shots. One could not describe the whole nightmare, which we had happened to outlive. My wife and I were at home and having heard the blasts we came down into the cellar. The missile has hit straight there. We survived due to the car, standing nearby. But the next missile has followed. I have been thrown off to the wall by the blasting wave and have injured my leg, have got contusion. The fire was lasting without any intervals. The Georgian fascists were bombing us from all type of weapon, even by aircraft, I thought, it had come the end.
The next bilateral meeting of the representatives of South Ossetia, Russia and Georgia has taken place in the village Dvani under the aegis of the International Committee of the Red Cross. The target of the meeting, as earlier – is searching for the missing people, clarification of their fates. A participant of the meeting, the Deputy Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on the postconflict settlement Merab Chigoev is telling IA «Res» about the course and the results of the meeting. - The meeting was very long and lasted more than 5 hours.
