The Russian frontier guards have detained nine citizens of Georgia for illegal crossing of the state border of South Ossetia. This information has been reported IA "Res" by the press-service of the State Committee for Safety of the Republic.
They noted, that on March 8 by the russian frontier detachment consisting of the representatives of the Frontier Management of the Russian Federal Service for Safety in the Republic of South Ossetia nine citizens of Georgia, the inhabitants of the settlement Tuaurebi, had been detained on the fact of illegal crossing of the state border of RSO, who, according to their words, had been moving for funerals to the settlement Akhmadzhi (Leningorskiy region, RSO – com. ed.).

- Maria, you are teaching pupils the traditions of Ossetian people. What do you think of the importance of this subject in the educational system and in the up-bringing of youth, in general?
- A subject "Traditional culture of the ossetians", to my mind is, is a paramount school discipline. A man, who does not know his culture, his own traditions, can not manage to know the other cultures, in the scale sense of this word. This subject includes all that knowledge, which absolutely each person must have. Besides, this is not simply, the child must learn at school, this is what must have roots in him so, as to change his lifestyle, the image of his thoughts.

That fatal day-8 August 2008- I was on a visit at my relatives. I, myself, live in the village Dzau. That night about 23:30 suddenly the rumble was heard. We came down into the cellar of the nine-storey building. At first we thought that the fire would subside, because it was not the first time for the Georgian side, so we took nothing with us to the cellar. But some of our neighbours turned out to be more provident. They took blankets and candles with them. None of us expected that the war would begin.

The seventh of August 2008 has been engraved in the memories not only of each person, who had been found himself in the Republic at that time, but also in those ones, who are not indifferent to the fate of the whole mankind. On the fifth of August 2008 I sent my children to Vladikavkaz, and I, myself, remained in the town. At night from seventh for eighth of August, when the war began, I with my neighbours came down into the cellar, my husband was at the hospital then- he had pneumonia. There were 15 of us in the cellar. There were only women and oldsters there. All were dread from what had been occurring. Georgians were firing us from all types of weapon, including the volley fire system «Hail". The fire had not been falling silent for a second during the whole night.

South-ossetian side again has raised the issue of detainees and the lost citizens of the Republic in the course of the fifteenth round of international debates on the issues of stability and safety in Transcaucasia, which has started today in Geneva. As the representative of south-ossetian delegation David Sanakoev informed IA "Res" over the phone , the issue had been risen within the framework of working of the second group, where the situation in the regions have been discussing.

The main subject of debates at the fifteenth round of international debates for stability and safety in Transcaucasia, which has started today in Geneva, was discussing the signing of the documents of not applying force against South Ossetia and Abkhazia by Georgia. As the leader of south-ossetian delegation Boris Chochiev informed IA "Res" over the phone from Geneva, south-ossetian side again focused the attention of the participants of the meeting on the theme of not-applying force.

Georgia was a large problem for South Ossetia in sense of delivering drugs to its territory. The deputy minister for foreign affairs of South Ossetia Alan Pliev has declared IA "Res" about this fact, commenting the statement in the report of the USA State Department, which had emerged in the number of electronic Mass Media, about the possible transportation of drugs through the territory of South Ossetia and Abkhazia
"Georgia was a great problem for us because of illegal supply of drugs on the territory of our Republic till the moment while the border became to be controlled by south - ossetian and russian force structures on the whole perimeter after the repulsing of georgian aggression in August 2008. Several operations for stopping drug-traffic and detention of the persons who were connected with the trade of drugs have been implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RSO before 2008. In the course of these operation were revealed just the people, delivering drugs in the Republic of South Ossetia", - Pliev has said.

Also, the authorities are continuing to accuse Russia in the armed aggression against Georgia and call South Ossetia the occupied territory.

3 milliard 327 million roubles will be allotted on the development of the road infrastructure in South Ossetia. The leader of press-service of the president and the government of RSO Vyacheslav Sedov has reported IA "Res" about this.
As Sedov says, the question is in the construction of eight routes - Tskhinval-Leningor (the area Dmenis-Leningor), Tskhinval-Znaur, Otreu-Artsev, Grom-Tsinagar, Gufta-Kvaysa, Monaster-Akhmadzh, Akhmadzh-Leningor and Sinagur-Karzman.
