Musicians from South Ossetia: Honored Worker of Culture Zhanetta Gagieva and a young talented performer of the national harmonica Sarmat Kabisov will present a concert program from the works of Ossetian composers and Ossetian national music in the Italian city of Gradara, the Republic’s Foreign Ministry reports.
Volgograd is hosting the international forum of public diplomacy “Dialogue on the Volga: Peace and Mutual Understanding in the 21st Century”, which is attended by representatives of different countries of the world, including South Ossetia.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko discussed with the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Toivo Klaar, the situation on the Georgian-South Ossetian border, the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.
"An exchange of views took place on the current situation in the Georgian-South Ossetian border region, as well as on some relevant topics of the Geneva discussions," the commentary on the Russian Foreign Ministry website says.
President Anatoly Bibilov met with representative of South Ossetia in the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic, Vitaly Yankovsky, and the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia in the Benelux countries, Radion Pukhaev, the presidential press service said.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev also took part in the meeting.
The head of state has expressed his gratitude for the work that the representatives of South Ossetia are doing in the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic and in Europe.
