4 patients were discharged from the "red zone" of the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center (RMMC) of South Ossetia the day before. This was reported to IA "Res" by the chief infectious disease specialist of the Republic, Eleonora Dzhioeva.

According to the doctor, 125 people with a new coronavirus infection are being treated in the buildings of the RMMC.

President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov met on Tuesday with the commander of the 58th Army, Major General Mikhail Zusko. The meeting was also attended by acting Defense Minister of the Republic Ibragim Gasseev and commander of the 4th military base of the Russian Federation, stationed in South Ossetia, Roman Vyazovsky, reported the press service of the head of state.

Anatoly Bibilov congratulated Mikhail Zusko on his appointment as commander of the 58th Army.

According to the latest data, there are 1684 registered and confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection in South Ossetia.

As reported to IA "RES "by Deputy Head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee Anna Gagloeva, the studies on COVID-19 will continue on Tuesday.

"During the day, 28 people were removed from the medical register (a total of 512 recovered), 1172 people remain under medical supervision," Gagloeva said.

For the entire time of the pandemic, 10289 studies were carried out in the PCR laboratory of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee.
