South Ossetia intends to bring the historical truth about the Ossetian genocide as widely as possible to the international community, President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov said on Wednesday, delivering a message to the people and parliament.

The republic, according to the head of state, will involve Ossetian diasporas in this work, cooperation with which has reached a new level in recent years.

At the Geneva discussions, South Ossetia will rigidly raise the question of Georgia’s responsibility for the Ossetian genocide and seek its recognition from the international community,” said President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov in his message on Wednesday.

South Ossetian President Anatoly Bibilov held a meeting on countering the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus in South Ossetia, the press service of the head of state reports.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Eric Pukhaev, head of the Presidential Executive Office Igor Kozaev, Prosecutor General Uruzmag Dzhagaev, Interior Minister Igor Naniev, members of the operational headquarters to combat coronavirus infection.
