South Ossetia is seeing another hero on his last journey.

A .participant of the special military operation, Genrikh Gyulerovich Kasaev, who went missing in January, was found dead. His body was delivered to Tskhinval on Saturday morning.

The body was identified by DNA analysis.

Genrikh Kasaev was fighting courageously and bravely and  perished during fierce battles near the village of Avdiivka.

The platoon in which Kasaev was serving got surrounded. The family was living all these months only hoping for a miracle, but....

Chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy and Sports of South Ossetia Ruslan Khubezhty and Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Youth and Sports of the Republic of Abkhazia Beslan Karchava discussed cooperation in the field of physical culture, sports and youth policy.

In the future, it is also planned to sign an agreement for further cooperation.

Delegates from South Ossetia took part in the II Eurasian meeting of Russian compatriots from the countries of the Near Abroad, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Africa in Tajikistan.

As reported to IA “Res” by Anzhelika Bukovskaya, one of the Forum participants, a member of the Coordinating Council of the Organization of Russian Compatriots in South Ossetia, told “the forum brought together representatives of the Russian community from almost all countries of the Eurasian continent.”

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev met in Moscow with First Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Rashid Nurgaliev, the press service of the head of the South Ossetian state reports.

"During the meeting, were discussed issues of increasing the security and defense capability of the Republic of South Ossetia, the situation on the border.

The parties discussed a number of issues related to ensuring the activities of law enforcement agencies and power structures of South Ossetia," the statement of the press service reads.

The Days of Culture of South Ossetia in Abkhazia ended after the performance of the A. B. Galaev State Song and Dance Group "Simd", on Thursday, June 1.

According to "Apsnypress", by the decree of the Abkhazian President Aslan Bzhaniya, read out by Minister of Culture Daur Kove, Minister of Culture of South Ossetia, Rada Dzagoeva, was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Culture".

Heads of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and South Ossetia Alexander Kurenkov and Ibragim Gasseev discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in Moscow. “With great warmth, we remember how we were met in South Ossetia. Today, our brothers and sisters from South Ossetia came to us on a return visit to hold the Days of Culture of South Ossetia in Abkhazia, and we are very pleased to welcome our fraternal teams to the Abkhazian land,” Kove said.

The head of South Ossetia, Alan Gagloev, is scheduled to meet with high-ranking statesmen of the Russian Federation.

The talks will be held within the framework of Gagloev's working visit to Moscow.

The agenda of the official meetings in the first place is the discussion of security issues of South Ossetia, the strengthening of ties in the field of foreign policy and implementation of the reconstruction of the Low Zaramag checkpoint.

A meeting of Ministers of Culture of South Ossetia and Abkhazia Rada Dzagoeva and Daur Kove took place in Sukhum, the press service of Ministry of Culture of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.

“Today we are happy to open the Days of Culture of South Ossetia in Abkhazia. I am glad to welcome you. Welcome!” Minister of Culture of Abkhazia.

Rada Dzagoeva stressed that the delegation was very pleased to be in the hospitable land of Abkhazia and expressed confidence that the mutual Days of Culture of the two countries would not be a one-time event.
