The security forces of South Ossetia and North Ossetia-Alania are working jointly, establishing interaction at the highest level, President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev noted during a meeting with Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Demyan Laptev.

The head of state noted the positive results in improving the activities of law enforcement agencies, achieved through fruitful interdepartmental interaction.

Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Galuzin discussed on Thursday with the heads of delegations at the Geneva discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia, State Advisor to the President of South Ossetia Konstantin Kochiev and his Abkhaz colleague Irakli Tuzhba, the task of quickly developing legally binding guarantees of the non-use of force by Tbilisi in relation to Sukhum and Tskhinval.

Lovers of Russian literature in South Ossetia are invited to take part in the international poetry competition for young readers “The Living Classics”.
