Lovers of Russian literature in South Ossetia are invited to take part in the international poetry competition for young readers “The Living Classics”.
According to the Russian House in Tskhinval, more than a thousand Russian compatriots living abroad, as well as foreigners studying the Russian language, take part in the competition every year.
"Participants aged 10 to 17 years inclusive compete in reciting excerpts from their favorite prose works. In all countries, the competition is held in Russian. Three winners of the national stage of the competition are awarded a trip to the Artek International Children's Center," the statement of the press service of the Russian House reads.

Applications for participation are accepted from November 1, 2023 to January 25, 2024.
