During the period between September 20-23, the law enforcement bodies detained eight persons for illegally crossing the state borders of South Ossetia, bypassing the official; six of them are citizens of Georgia. Later, upon the decision of Tskhinval district court of the Republic of South Ossetia, five Georgian citizens were expelled from the territory of the Republic and handed over to the Georgian Interior Ministry.

Migration Service of South Ossetian Interior Ministry is introducing state fees for foreign nationals for crossing the Georgian-Ossetian state border, reported Soslan Tigiev, the Chief of Migration Service of the South Ossetian Interior Ministry.
