The delegation of the Russian Federation Foreign Ministry was in the Republic of South Ossetia with working visit from 18 to 19 July. The delegation has included the Deputy Director of the fourth Department of the CIS Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation A.A.Dvinjanin and the Counsellor of the Russian Federation Minister for Foreign Affairs M.M.Kulakhmetov.
Within the frames of the visit the delegation has been received by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia M.K.Dzhioev. Consultations about mutual relations, representing common interest, have taken place according to the Memorandum of mutual aid between the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation The meeting with the South-Ossetian participants of the Geneva discussions on safety in Transcaucasia has also taken place; in the course of the meeting the questions connected on prospects of the Geneva process have been discussed. The delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has visited Leningorskiy region, and has also examined the Zonkarsky reservoir in Tskhinvalskiy region, RSO.
