South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov received the Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Sergey Naryshkin. The President thanked the leadership of Russia for all-round assistance and supporting of South Ossetia.
"For my part, I want to assure the leadership of the Russian Federation, we will do our best to carry on the chosen course of our nation - forever with Russia. We will make every effort so that all the agreements which are concluded between our two countries, have been implemented in the near future "- said Tibilov.
In turn, Sergei Naryshkin, once again congratulated Tibilov on assumption of the Presidency of the Republic, and noted that Russia would continue to provide all-round assistance to South Ossetia.
"We were attentively following the progress of the election campaign, and in contrast to the last fall elections, the present - went flawlessly, in full accordance with international law. You are worthy of victory in such an honest, uncompromising and open fight,"- he said.
State Duma speaker said that the new president will have a huge amount of work.
"Russia will provide the necessary assistance to South Ossetia in the development of the Republic. Our overall goal is that the funds allocated for the restoration of the Republic have been drawn efficiently, without violations"- added Naryshkin.
He has stressed that the basis of the Russian-South Ossetian relations is a large number of the signed agreements, which will continue to promote the cooperation between the two countries in all spheres.
